Security Advisory 2755801 revised to address Adobe Flash Player issues

Today we revised Security Advisory 2755801 to address issues in Adobe Flash Player in Internet Explorer 10, in conjunction with Adobe’s update process. Customers who have automatic updates enabled will not need to take any action because protections will be downloaded and installed automatically. Customers who do not use automatic updates should apply the guidance in the advisory immediately using update management software, or by checking the Microsoft Update service, to help ensure protection.

Hello. Today we’re publishing the August 2012 Security Bulletin Webcast Questions & Answers page. During the webcast, we fielded twelve questions focusing primarily on MS12-060 covering Windows Common Controls, MS12-052 regarding Internet Explorer, and Security Advisory 2661254 addressing trust certificates with RSA keys less than 1024 bit key lengths. Three additional questions were answered after the webcast.

Advance Notification Service for August 2012 Security Bulletin Release

Today we’re providing advanced notification on the release of nine bulletins, five Critical and four Important, for August 2012. The five Critical security bulletins are addressing ten vulnerabilities in Microsoft Windows, Internet Explorer, Exchange, SQL Server, Server Software, and Developer Tools. The bulletin for Exchange will address the issue first described in Security Advisory 2737111.

Hello – Today we’re releasing our advance notification for the June security bulletin release, which is scheduled for Tuesday, June 12. This month’s release includes 7 bulletins addressing 25 vulnerabilities in Microsoft Windows, Internet Explorer, Visual Basic for Applications, Dynamics AX, and the .NET Framework.
