BlueHat v18 Announced & Call for Papers Opens

We are back! Microsoft is excited to announce the next installment of the BlueHat Security Conference – BlueHat v18. We will be holding the event at Microsoft’s headquarter campus September 25-27, 2018. This year we are adding the option for workshops and networking on the first day prior to the content beginning. More information on that will be available when we announce the schedule in late July.

Today also marks the opening of the Call for Papers. BlueHat is a unique event that focuses heavily on creating connections and community. It is an opportunity to show cutting edge research, engage in conversations in how Microsoft should approach problems in the ecosystem, and reflect on the challenges we all face in the evolving threat landscape. Potential speakers have from May 4th through July 15th to submit abstract proposals. We are looking for abstract submissions with clear calls to action for our engineering focused audience. The suggested themes for this event are:

  • Virtualization & Cloud-based research, exploits and defense
  • New Exploit techniques
  • How customers are getting owned (case studies and research)
  • Threat Intelligence Insights
  • Emerging Threats & Trends
  • Identity & Authentication research, exploits and defense
  • Ecosystem Challenges & Policies

You can submit your abstracts here: https://aka.ms/bhcfp. Come challenge us and help shape how Microsoft thinks about security!
