Hi folks, back in the office now from TechEd Europe last week.
It was interesting to compare the crowd at TechEd USA with Europe. At the MSRC stand, we really got different perspectives, and an understanding of the different issues and landscape in Europe. We heard everything from feedback on how Microsoft supports customers through the security response process to suggestions on how to continue to improve the update management process. And most of all a reminder how diverse the region is! It’s always quite a buzz to be able to share with someone information that can help them in their work and I really enjoy the opportunity to do so. As we’ve been doing over the last few months, this is exactly the kind of feedback we’re looking for so we can continue to work on the best way to help customers….so keep it coming! But what I really liked the most was the look on attendee’s faces when Lennart replied to them in their native Swedish, or I switched my Kiwi-English to Kiwi-German!
If you haven’t already done so, I encourage you to take a look at http://www.microsoft.com/msrc. There is a wealth of information and customer guidance linked from there. We’d also appreciate any feedback you have for us, especially around suggestions for improvements for bulletins and advisories.
